Kingsport, TN – MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Center

“Embracing Change – Facility Energy & Environmental Transition Challenges”

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS AND SPEAKERS!

Join CIBO for our first in-person conference of 2025 designed to focus on the wide range of policy and technical issues facing industrial energy.  Sharing experiences and actions with your peers in the industrial and institutional energy sector supports information exchange and technology innovation – come tell your stories! Speakers on our agenda, both CIBO members and invited non – members, represent industrial and institutional energy facility owners and operators, consultants, outside experts and government agencies.

Included in the May conference agenda, Eastman Chemical Company is partnering with CIBO to offer an afternoon tour of their Tennessee Operations combined heat and power facilities at Kingsport, TN.  The Kingsport site is home to the company’s largest manufacturing facility along with its company headquarters.  The Tennessee Operations site is situated on approximately 1070 acres and typically requires 3,600,000 lbs/hr (4,000,000 lbs/hr peak)  of 600 psig superheated steam and 170 MW (190 MW peak) to power the facility.  This energy is supplied by 4 powerhouses containing 17 boilers and 19 turbogenerators fired with coal and natural gas.

If you have a presentation or case study to share, please send your abstract to cibo@cibo.org referencing the topic area below.
