CIBO identifies and stays focused on specific energy and environmental regulations, including DOE and EPA initiatives, and major legislation on Capitol Hill.  We also regularly schedule agency officials and key House and Senate committee staff professionals to participate at our meetings to allow for deeper conversations on specific concerns.  Under Environmental Committee and  Energy & Sustainability Committee are identified policy areas and issues we are currently engaged in, now working to take a deeper dive and advancing strategic objectives and action steps to advance in 2023.  We often examine broad policy issues, but we really role up our sleeves when we focus on narrower issues, for example: technology – related challenges posed by EPA regulations: costs concerns, implementation questions, and technology –-related problems.
